Delhi man gets tattoos of flags to promote world peace

A 70-year-old businessman from Delhi has tattooed 305 flags of different countries on his body to promote amity among nations. Har Prakash, who also likes to call himself Guinness Rishi, hopes to get more flags inked on his body and create a new world record.

“People call me a joker, a mad man. It doesn’t bother me,” Prakash said. He is currently in Kathmandu, Nepal, to attend the first international tattoo conference.

The tattoos on his body include 305 flags of different countries, 185 maps, 165 mini-flags and 2,985 characters. “My dream is to go around the world several times,” he said.

Jarrod Sammut has revealed a new tattoo but he probably should have checked the spelling first.
The fullback for Penrith Panthers had "Justify Your Existance" tattooed in big, bold letters all across his chest last year but it took two weeks before he realized the mistake.
"I picked out the style and the bloke wrote it down on the tracing pad. I had a quick look at it, I liked the type and shape and I was happy with it."

An Australian man said he obtained a pair of passes for his parents to ride a train across Europe by tattooing the transport company's logo on his back.
Grant Burton of Melbourne said he wanted to give his parents a trip to Germany for their 40th wedding anniversary so he contacted European rail company Eurail with his tattoo-for-tickets plan, Britain's The Sun reported.
Burton said the company agreed to the exchange if he could attract 5,000 people to a Facebook group outlining the plan. He said the Internet portion was easy, and he now sports the Eurail logo across his back.
"I'm giving something back," Burton said of his gift to his parents. "They've done so much for me. Being a human billboard is a small price to pay."

Guinness Rishi is hoping to become the first person to get tattoos of every national flag on the planet over his entire body.
Guiness Rishi, 67, who wants to enter the Guinness Book of World Records by tatooing the flags of all the countries in the world on his body
Mr Rishi, 67, is planning to cover himself in 220 different banners in his quest to become a walking global flag-pole.
Already sporting six tattoos, Canada, Union Jack, India, USA, Cyprus and the Indian Congress Party, on his face, Guinness, who changed his name in honor of the famous record book, believes that he will complete his challenge in three years.
He plans to cover his head and face with the most important one-inch flags before inking from his neck down in alphabetical order.
