Small, Smaller, SMALLEST
"The current Guinness Book of Records for the world-s smallest motorized car. It is a miniature version of Toyota-s first passenger car, the 1936 Model AA sedan. Its size is astounding: 1/1000th the size of the actual car or about the size of a grain of rice. Dimensions are: 4.785 mm long, 1.73 mm wide and 1.736 mm tall. The car has a total of 24 parts which come in 13 different types including body, tires, spare tire, wheels, axle, bearings, headlights, rearlights, front bumper, rear bumper, step, number plate and emblem."
Man deliberately froze leg so it would be taken off
A father of two has told how he deliberately froze his right leg so it would have to be amputated.
David Openshaw, 28, suffers from body integrity identity disorder (BIID), which makes victims seek amputation of healthy limbs.
Surgeons refused to remove his right leg. So he plunged it into a bucket of dry ice for hours until it became so damaged it had to be removed below the knee.
And David, who says he "hated" the leg since he was four, is delighted with his false limb. He said: "The excruciating pain from the dry ice was worth it." The chicken factory worker claimed he is now much happier and the amputation has even improved his love life with Joanne McWilliam. She said: "We’re closer than ever." But David, of Sydney, Australia, insisted he did not want to damage his other limbs.

Happy Birthday Small Bits and Pieces!
One year ago today Monday, June 18, 2007 Small Bits and Pieces was created and became part of my life because I was all alone while my brother was away but, now he’s back and we are having a great time.
I have been posting almost daily, given my readers what I thought was a great selection of topics that it would intrigue most people to come on back and even comment occasionally.
