There was a problem with the bike? Excuse me? Whenever I've seen people make jumps like this, they're usually landing on a slope. That looks like at least a 15 ft drop, and he would have close to 30 ft/sec vertical velocity after that. Recovering from that kind of a drop on concrete, even with a full PLF (parachute landing fall) would be dicey. This guy is expecting two bike wheels to take all of that impact. They ought to start teaching physics in school again.
Maybe next time he will wear a helmet.
