Pot stolen while police wasn’t looking
Authorities in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales says that thieves went through the back door of a nightclub that had been converted to a marijuana farm while police were guarding the front.
Investigators said the 1,000 plants in the building in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales , were worth about $500,000.
However, about 5 percent of the contents were removed by a people who stuffed plants into trash bags. A neighbor who spotted the group loading plants into a van called the police but the thieves were able to get away.
"Everyone was chuffed with busting the huge factory and there was a blaze of publicity about it," the source said. "There was such a lot of cannabis inside we had to dispose of it. While we were waiting for disposal team the thieves broke in through the back door."
Investigators said the building had been furnished with grow lights and a watering system. Four Vietnamese immigrants were arrested on the premises.
.Woman had fraud credit card in vagina
Authorities in Pompano Beach , Florida said they arrested a woman who was concealing a fraudulent credit card and a counterfeit driver's license in her vagina.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office said Ann Marie Hernandez, 46, of Pompano Beach , was pulled over at about 7 p.m. Friday on Interstate 75 and deputies discovered more than $5,000 worth of items purchased with a fraudulent credit card in her car.
The sheriff's office said a female deputy was called to the scene and Hernandez was found to be concealing the fraudulent credit card along with a counterfeit driver's license in her vagina.
.Police use Taser on naked runner
Police in Cincinnati , Ohio said a naked man running in Cincinnati 's Flying Pig Marathon was shocked with a Taser and placed under arrest after he refused to stop.
Police said Henderson was warned he would be stunned with a Taser if he did not stop but he continued to run and refused to stop until the officer used the Taser.
Henderson, who was not a registered participant, was charged with public indecency and obstructing official business.
