Man wins bid on eBay for massive airport transporter

To most people, this looks like a giant metal tube train carriage, but to Andrew Jones this five-ton Maglev magnetic levitation transporter is design genius.
There’s just one snag, he doesn’t know what to do with it.
Mr. Jones spotted it on eBay last November and put in a £100 bid which was bettered by a £25,000 buyer – who failed to complete the deal.
‘I had no idea I’d end up with it. We have offered it to various museums since we bought it, but nobody has been able to accommodate it,
'As a result, I’ve got a five ton train in the field opposite my house and I’ve now got to find a suitable use for it.’

Text to mom leads to LYAO arrest

Anthony Paul Burdeshaw wanted his mom to clean up his room and do the dishes. Unfortunately for the 33-year-old, the text message he used to convey his wishes led to his arrest, police said.
Narcotics investigators with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office were called to an abandoned barn at 7312 Penny Road and discovered the chemicals used to manufacture meth, officials wrote in a news release.
Burdeshaw lived next to the barn with his mom at 7304 Penny Road, officials wrote, but wasn’t home at the time. His mom was home and after she received a text message from her son she approached an investigator and asked him to help her open it.
The narcotics investigator complied, going so far as to read the electronic missive to Burdeshaw’s mother, officials wrote.
The message was: “Hey Mom can u go to my bedroom and get the glass bowl under the bed and wash it with water really good and don’t give the cops permission to search.”

Testicles dedicated to Kate Middleton and Prince William

The best testicle cooks in the world are promising to dedicate the prize-winning dishes at this year's World Testicle & Aphrodisiac Cooking Championships to Kate Middleton and Prince William.

Chef Ljubomir Erovic, the organizer of the event, said testicles are rich in testosterone and minerals and are believed to be a powerful aphrodisiac in his home country of Serbia.
Erovic believes if the royal couple were to try some of the dishes on offer they would be in a better position to conceive a child - how thoughtful.
Delicacies on offer at the championships include a full range of bull, boar, camel, ostrich and even kangaroo testicles.
He has already written the world's first recipe collection of its kind, Cooking With Balls, which includes how to prepare testicle pizzas, battered testicles and barbecued testicles with giblets.
The book notes that you will need a ‘very sharp knife’ if you want to embark on traditional testicle cookery techniques, and also advises washing your balls and letting them soak in water before cooking, to soften them up.
