At the Car Wash

It was staged since pressure nozzles don't have trigger locks to lock them on.

Truck-Eating Bridge

This Ryder truck had its top peeled off this morning after making it completely through the Brady Street railroad overpass at 5th Street in Davenport Iowa before realizing that the truck was too tall.
The railroad overpasses in downtown Davenport claimed yet another unsuspecting victim this morning. About 7:40 a.m., a Ryder rental truck was traveling north on U.S. 61 when it struck the railroad bridge at 500 Brady St. The truck managed to get all the way under the bridge, but the collision peeled back the top of the empty truck. Debris from the accident quickly was cleaned up, and traffic is back to normal.

Today is World Toilet Day

Did you know?
2.5 billion people do not have somewhere safe, private or hygienic to go to the toilet.

One gram of feces can contain 10 million viruses, one million bacteria, 1,000 parasite cysts and 100 parasite eggs. The simple act of washing hands with soap and water after going to the toilet can reduce diarrhea diseases by over 40%. Safe disposal of children's feces leads to a reduction of nearly 40% in childhood diarrhea.
November 19 is World Toilet Day – a day to celebrate the humble, yet vitally important, toilet and to raise awareness of the global sanitation crisis. WaterAid is working hard to change this, using simple and low cost solutions, and there are many easy and fun ways you can get involved.

Small Bits of News You Didn’t Know you Needed

Is this seat Shakin?
A man who described himself as a "Jack of all trades'' has been fined for exposing himself and masturbating in front of a woman on a Darwin-bound flight.
Lucas Steven Knudson argued he was "just adjusting himself" because his jeans were too tight, a Darwin court heard yesterday.
The court heard the Ballina man - wearing jeans, a flannelette shirt, white socks and thongs - told airport officers her story was "bull****".
But the two police officers who spoke to him after the midnight flight on April 11 said his jeans were not "overly tight".
After a two-hour hearing, magistrate Tanya Fong Lim found Knudson guilty of committing an indecent act on the plane.
Caught On Camera: ATM Theft
Officers are calling it a gutsy move.
Thieves steal a forklift and use it to pry an ATM from the drive through line at a bank in Montgomery, Alabama. Police found the stolen forklift, with the engine still running when they arrived at the bank just three minutes after the incident.
Officers say surveillance video shows that the thief was no stranger to heavy equipment.
Investigators say the driver of the white Chevrolet truck had a big tattoo on his left arm and they are asking the public's help in identifying the robbers.
44-year-old stripper charges age discrimination
A Canadian exotic dancer has filed an age discrimination suit against a Toronto-area strip club, saying she was fired because she is 44 years old, The National Post reported.
Kimberlee Ouwroulis, who began stripping when she was 40, says the manager at New Locomotion strip club sat her down on June 6 and said, "Your time is up here," the Post reported.
When she asked if it was because of her age, he allegedly told her another older woman had been fired the same day, and the club was going for a younger look. Ouwroulis says she would like to continue stripping until she is 47 or 48.
Ouwroulis told the Post that while the job is about looks, it is also about personality and attitude, all of which made her a great dancer. She has filed an age discrimination complaint to the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. She is currently working at another strip club as a dancer.

Boy steals camera and thong for lingerie shoot with girlfriend
Cops say a 15-year-old Port St. Lucie boy stole a digital camera, a pink thong and other panties.
His plan: to photograph his girlfriend in the sexy lingerie.A loss prevention officer at a Wal-Mart Supercenter told cops the boy took a $59.77 camera, $14.88 memory card, $3 pack of AA batteries and a $12.48 wallet before heading to the women's department.
There the boy selected three pairs of underwear, including a pink thong and two other sets of striped panties, and put them in his pocket. The underwear was valued at nearly $10 in total.
The loss prevention officer stopped the boy after he left the store.
The boy told police he planned to give his 16-year-old girlfriend the lingerie and take pictures of her in it with the camera.

What a bunch of boobs.
Cops recently linked a series of thefts of breast pumps from Babies R Us to two Coral Springs guys.
Cops arrested John Grassano and Sean Loychik after Grassano allegedly put three breast pumps valued at nearly $1,000 into a shopping cart.
Since July cops say the Breast Pump Bandits have absconded with more than 40 breast pumps valued at about $15,000.
The thefts were documented on surveillance video.
Grassano initially said the pumps were for his daughter, who is carrying Loychik 's child.
After an officer asked why he needed four breast pumps, Grassano said he sells them on eBay.
