South Texas Man Busted After Reporting Pot Theft
A man was arrested for drug possession after telling authorities that two masked gunmen had stolen 150 pounds of marijuana from his home.
Hidalgo County sheriff's deputies arrived at the home near Penitas in South Texas to find the door kicked in and nearly 15 pounds of pot lying on the floor, Sheriff Lupe Trevino said.

A Wisconsin woman, a former teacher, is charged with sexual assault after allegedly having an affair with her daughter's 13-year-old former boyfriend. Man plows through McDonald's, car stops at pickup counter
A man literally drove through a McDonald's restaurant on Monday morning, with his car coming to a crashing stop at the pickup counter. Las Vegas police said fast driving, not fast food, was the culprit. The driver was traveling north when he lost control of his white Honda just before Windmill Lane. The compact car flew over another vehicle, scaled a guard rail in front of the building and smashed through the restaurant's window and kitchen, said officer Martin Wright, spokesman for Metropolitan Police Department. » Article here

Students accused of battery with freshly baked cookies
Two students at Southern Illinois University in this St. Louis suburb kidnapped, paddled and burned a young man with freshly baked cookies after a drug deal went bad, prosecutors said. Madison County prosecutors on Monday charged Rosario James, 23, and Jordan Sallis, 20, each with two counts of aggravated kidnapping and one count of robbery and aggravated battery.The suspects beat the man with a wooden paddle, burned his neck and shoulders with cookies immediately after taking them from the oven, shaved off some of his hair and poured urine over him from a soda bottle. Hours later the victim managed to escape and call police after the suspects drove him to a house in trying to get money for the drugs.
