Hot Tub Not So Hot Hiding Spot
Police in Aloha, Ore., say a man accused of mail theft made the mistake of attempting to hide from officers in a hot tub.
Washington County deputies allege that when they approached Mathew Keuscher as he sat in his car last week, he ran off after they noticed other people's mail inside the vehicle, KPTV in Portland reported Saturday.

3 Arrested After Cash Register Stop
It all added up for authorities during a traffic stop.
That's when following a burglary in Livingston Parish, authorities stopped a vehicle carrying three men, including one holding a cash register from the business that was just hit, Slidell Police spokesman Capt. Kevin Foltz said.

California Woman Targeted For Murder On Craigslist
The job posting said "freelance," and the employer was looking for a killer applicant.
Ann Marie Linscott, 49, offered $5,000 for the hit, had the name and work address of the woman she wanted dead and in e-mails with stunned job seekers described successful candidates as "silent assassins," according to agents and court documents.
