Small Bits of News You Didn’t Know you Needed

Is this seat Shakin?
A man who described himself as a "Jack of all trades'' has been fined for exposing himself and masturbating in front of a woman on a Darwin-bound flight.
Lucas Steven Knudson argued he was "just adjusting himself" because his jeans were too tight, a Darwin court heard yesterday.
The court heard the Ballina man - wearing jeans, a flannelette shirt, white socks and thongs - told airport officers her story was "bull****".
But the two police officers who spoke to him after the midnight flight on April 11 said his jeans were not "overly tight".
After a two-hour hearing, magistrate Tanya Fong Lim found Knudson guilty of committing an indecent act on the plane.

Caught On Camera: ATM Theft
Officers are calling it a gutsy move.
Thieves steal a forklift and use it to pry an ATM from the drive through line at a bank in Montgomery, Alabama. Police found the stolen forklift, with the engine still running when they arrived at the bank just three minutes after the incident.
Officers say surveillance video shows that the thief was no stranger to heavy equipment.
Investigators say the driver of the white Chevrolet truck had a big tattoo on his left arm and they are asking the public's help in identifying the robbers.

44-year-old stripper charges age discrimination
A Canadian exotic dancer has filed an age discrimination suit against a Toronto-area strip club, saying she was fired because she is 44 years old, The National Post reported.
Kimberlee Ouwroulis, who began stripping when she was 40, says the manager at New Locomotion strip club sat her down on June 6 and said, "Your time is up here," the Post reported.
When she asked if it was because of her age, he allegedly told her another older woman had been fired the same day, and the club was going for a younger look. Ouwroulis says she would like to continue stripping until she is 47 or 48.
Ouwroulis told the Post that while the job is about looks, it is also about personality and attitude, all of which made her a great dancer. She has filed an age discrimination complaint to the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. She is currently working at another strip club as a dancer.
