A baby girl with a rare condition which produces spots on her skin was barred from traveling on a British Airways flight until her mother could prove she was not contagious.
One-year-old Stephanie Brown, from Mirfield, West Yorks, suffers from a strain of pediatric Diffuse Cutaneous Mastocytosis (DCM) in which itchy spots and hives can appear on the skin.
The little-known condition, the result of the body producing too many of a type of blood cell called mast cells, is not contagious.
