Man marks Father’s Day by hugging his dad — for 24 hours

Brian Feldman plans to embrace his own father, Edward Alan Feldman, on Sunday, June 19, from midnight to 11:59 p.m.

“It is meant to be both a healing and transformative experience,” said Brian Feldman. “How often does one have the opportunity to embrace their father for this period of time? It will likely be the hardest project I have done to date.”

The Feldmans will stage the piece in the boxing ring at Orange Ave Gym, 1616 N. Orange Ave. Orlando. Spectators are welcome to enter the ring and embrace a loved one after the 12th hour of the project (after noon on Father’s Day).

The cost to attend the event is $10 for an all-day limited-edition “24 Hour Embrace (after Young Sun Han)” wristband.
